In Germany

Just a quick update for anyone who cares.....we have landed in Germany and are spending the weekend in Hanau. We had a chance to check out Burger-fest, which much to my dissappointment, had nothing to do with burgers at all (boo-hiss). Apparently the famous Brothers Grimm are from this area and it was a festival celebrating them..hard to tell since I dont speak any german..it was pretty cool though...we got some pics and we'll post them up soon. I did have a beer at the festival....it was served cold....I know some people had warned me of warm beer here....Im pleased to report that it is served cold. Unfortunately, it was the most bitter beer I've ever had. I managed to choke it down though. The Wife and I miss everyone back at home, but so far Germany is pretty cool.
